Job Description:

We are seeking an individual with Prior Corps QCSM experience (required). This uniquely qualified person shall be responsible for overall management of CQC. The CQC System Manager shall be on the site at all times during construction. Responsibilities include assuring all contractors and subcontractors comply with engineering standards and specifications. In addition, this individual makes certain that all engineering, surveys, inspections, etc. are complete and comply with the project.

Qualifications/Skills:

Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture Or Engineering Technician with 2 years of college and an ICC certification as a Commercial Building Inspector (Residential Building Inspector certification will be required for Military Family housing projects)

Prior RMS/QCS Software experience

CQM Certificate required, if expired we will pay for a renewal

Minimum 5 years construction experience (required)

Ability to read and interpret the requirements of construction drawings, specifications and shop drawings.

Knowledge of mechanical, plumbing and electrical construction practices.

Ability to:

Work independently

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency using Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, and spreadsheet applications).

Quick self-starter, team-oriented and able to work with different personalities and professional styles, remotely and in-person, to complete tasks

Responsibilities:

Implement/Oversee site QC/QA Program.

Support project teams with their efforts to improve the quality of the finished product.

Perform inspections, examinations and witnessing of systems, sub-systems and components and documenting results.

Communicate with subcontractors to help insure they understand and comply with construction documents.

Monitor all construction activities to determine that the work being performed is in accordance with the contract documents and documenting findings.

Report QC/QA monthly activity status to management.

Participate in construction meetings.

Review contractor quality control plans and records.

Assist in the resolution of quality control issues.
