Toddler Lead Teacher

TODDLER TEACHER (Open Arms CDC) - Create a successful environment that will promote the growth and development of young children integrating educational goals and developmentally appropriate practices into the classroom. Maintain contact with and provide services to families.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Early Childhood Education, Child Development Associate (C.D.A)

Associate degree in Early Childhood Educationor any related field

Toddler (ages 2-3) classroom teaching experience is required, two years is preferred. Experience adapting curriculum to meet the needs of all children including at risk, special needs, and culturally diverse populations

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Intermediate to advanced computer skills, internet and e-mail

Timely, competent record keeping ability. Good organizational skills

Have experience with lesson plans and portfolios

Schedule: Full-time (8:00 am to 5:30 pm)

Salary: $15 - $19 per hour DOE/E plus benefits (medical, dental, training, professional development opportunities, paid holidays, paid vacation time,)
