As the I.T. Technician, you will be solely responsible for maintenance of all I.T. as listed below in

responsibilities.

Workload will vary each week, it’s important to remain flexible and willing to move schedule as

needed.

You may need to come in on a day off if there are any emergencies, such as mission-critical

equipment failure.

This position requires knowledge of HIPAA regulations, can be learned on-the-job.

Responsibilities:

Maintaining Cisco LAN / WAN connectivity

Configure and Install IP-based security cameras

Keep all devices up-to-date and perform troubleshooting tactics as-needed

Maintain Blue Iris 4 on six camera servers

Expand the network as needed by installing additional equipment and/or running long lengths of cable.

IT-related purchase decisions

Requirements:

Must be able to prove knowledge of BASIC IP routing and subnetting

Must have experience working with Cisco IOS

Must have experience configuring and installing IP-based cameras

Must have knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and troubleshooting skills

Be able to provide fingerprints and pass a background check

Ability to terminate CAT 5/6 ethernet with RJ45

Work well with others

Able to lift 40lbs or greater

Able to stand on and climb ladders

Must have a working phone or other means of contact.

Able to assist others with Tier-1 issues, Team Viewer, Google Apps.

Must have reliable transportation

Hours: 8 - 26 per week

Pay: $16 - $20 per hour (DOE)

Location: Houston, AK

Skills not required but preferred:

Experience setting up live-streams utilizing OBS or other similar software

Ability to multitask

This position is for an assisted living home; candidates must be able to pass a State of Alaska background check with no prior felonies or barrier crimes.
