Seeking paralegal (or attorney under "limited representation" arrangement) to help several condo owners structure Superior Court complaint against what can best be described as "HOA from hell" for failure to maintain common areas for decades. For example, our roofs are now 40+ years old, and some furnaces have been out of service for nearly a decade the hot water is only lukewarm.

The HOA, which hasn't released financial information for years, takes our dues money (over $600/month per unit) every month and we have no idea where the money goes.

We don't even know who (if anyone) is on the Board of Directors or how they got there. We've never seen minutes of a single Board of Directors meeting. There hasn't been an annual meeting in a long time.

A voluminous Request for Production of Documents follow the complaint as soon as the rules allow. What we get back will be used for another complaint to demand that the HOA follow its own rules perhaps in the form of a permanent injunction.

If you're an attorney, you could take over after the initial filings. Alternatively, if you're a paralegal, we can handle the mechanics of filing/serving the complaint, filing and responding to frivolous motions, and standing up to the HOA's attorney who thinks his client is exempt from its own rules and refuses to produce any documents.

We're older and not into texting. We prefer real-time full-duplex interactive voice communication using that wonderful device invented by a Mr. Bell the telephone!
