We are looking for a person with maintenance experience, who takes pride in performing a job well done, to work with our property management team. This is a part-time job (8am to 5pm Monday, Wednesday, and Friday), but could lead to a full-time job. The responsibilities include assisting with cleaning/janitorial of upscale apartment buildings, office building, and retail center. The job duties include apartment make-readies, cleaning/maintaining common areas/grounds, snow plowing, snow shoveling, shampooing carpets/furniture, minor electrical, plumbing, electrical, replacing light ballasts/bulbs, sheet rock repair, operation of shampooing/cleaning equipment, vacuuming, furniture moving, painting, sweeping, and work-orders. Experience required. Must be friendly, reliable, and have valid drivers licence with clean driving record/background check/drug test. Please provide resume with references.

Qualifications and Skills

Obtained high school education or equivalent. Must have experience performing similar job. Must have own set of tools. Must be willing and available to work 'on-call' every other week.

Benefits

This is a part-time job, with possibility of turning in to a full time job. All Full time employees receive holiday pay for major holidays, and earn up to 10 days of PTO during first year, with increasing amount thereafter. Medical benefits offered after completion of probationary period. After one year of employment, employee may participate in a Simple IRA program where employer provides a percentage match of contribution up to a maximum amount.

Employee could be considered as a live-in employee and provided with an apartment after successful completion of probation period.

Employees will be expected to wear masks, wash hands and use hand-sanitizer throughout work day. Work gloves when working in apartment homes. Social distance when around customers and staff.
