Key Objective: Oversees all functions of installation including but not limited to; management of install crews to ensure high quality installations and services to provide our customers with an outstanding retail experience. Establishes processes to assure proper crews, materials, and equipment is available at each jobsite to maximize the company’s efficiency and profitability. Continually reviews contracts, tech measures and conformations sheet to determine job specifics, identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiencies, and assists with pro-active changes to improve performance. Monitors purchasing, warehouse storage, and equipment / vehicle maintenance to optimize company’s short- and long-term goals of cost reduction and increasing profitability.

Communication with General Manager regarding daily activities
Empowered to stop a job for noncompliance or quality or safety.
Prepares the performance evaluation for the Installers and Warehouse Supervisor.
Responsible for proper and continual equipment and vehicle maintenance. Works with Warehouse Manager to schedule periodic grease, oil and other minor maintenance to keep equipment operational at all times.
Performs periodic examination of equipment operation to identify potential repairs and schedules for service work. Notifies supervisor of sub-standard appearance.
Responsible for examination of Installation vans to ensure properly stocked and orderly maintained in effort to increase first time completion
Notifies General Manager of recurring equipment malfunctions and corrective action taken or additional work necessary
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in Tech measures as required.
Performs 15 to 20 Jobsite Visits per month and documents accordingly in Enabled and schedule services calls.
Provide availability to be key customer contact in the field for all problem jobs, mis measures or customer complaints.
Reviews Installer Bonus report monthly to track installer performance
Assist with any questions or problems on the ordering of windows, doors, stock etc.
Install all windows and doors as needed
Communicate daily with lead installers to identify any needed changes to the installation schedule.
Implement regular training schedule for service technicians and installation crews.
Maintain monthly installer meeting.
Analyzes all measure summaries and contracts to comprehend job details. Identifies any unusual facets of project and question internally before proceeding.
Ensure that the lead installer is in compliance with the expectations of the company0 that the area is cleaned up daily and at completion of job.
Monitors materials and labor utilized to continually watch for opportunities to reduce overruns and anticipate problems for immediate resolution.
Reviews daily activities and go over results with General Manager to where variances occur with labor time estimated; material shortages; weather problems; delays or other issues affecting performance. Also, this reporting must include any workers’ compensation injuries; non-compliance with safety procedures or other issues affecting quality, safety, or company image or sub-standard job performance.
Approve all labor-extras as discussed with measure tech and installation crew.
Assist in pulling permits and closing permits when required by town.
Ensures that the lead installer collects progress and final payments and communicate any problems or issues with Administration

Position Requirements:
Knowledge of replacement windows systems and carpentry skills
Exceptional dispute resolution skills
Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings
Ability to manage staff
Maintain a clean cut and professional appearance.
Required to wear logo’s attire daily
Valid driver’s license
Knowledge and skill to handle various equipment
Must be able to travel 20%
