HVAC Technician

Qualifications

Valid Driver License (Required)

High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)

Universal EPA Certification (Required)

Other HVAC Certification/Training (Preferred)

Commercial and Residential HVAC Experience: 2 years (Preferred)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of residential and commercial HVAC equipment and troubleshooting techniques

Ability to read and interpret technical plans, diagrams, and manuals

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent problem-solving and time management skills

Ability to work cooperatively with others and perform tasks without immediate supervision

Must be honest, dependable, and have a good attitude

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of HVAC Service Technicians include but are not limited to:

Perform HVAC-related maintenance, service, and repair in residential and commercial settings.

Identify issues, determine urgency, formulate solutions, perform immediately-needed repairs, make recommendations for less-urgent repairs and/or upgrades.

Maintain detailed and complete records of maintenance, repair, and testing activities.

Accurately track all time, materials, supplies, and anything else used in the delivery of services.

Maintain a clean work area and clean up after services are completed.

Maintain company-provided vehicles in a clean and organized manner.

Interface with customers in a courteous and professional manner.

Be prompt and maintain a professional appearance.

Perform work afterhours and on weekends as required.

Perform other duties as assigned.
