Our client is a thriving Radiation Therapy Center in Anchorage, Alaska offering state of the art cancer treatment in Alaska and collaborating with the brightest minds in Oncology Care.

Working collaboratively with other functional leaders, the incumbent will provide oversight and direction to two patient navigation teams: the front office staff and the nursing staff. In addition, they will work closely with the Center Administrator to ensure office management protocols and procedures are well tooled to ensure efficient, effective and high quality operations.

The Patient Navigation Manager / Office Manager will perform a variety of duties including but not limited to:

Provide leadership, mentorship and guidance to direct reports in both centers.

Direct, supervise and evaluate work activities of direct reports.

Identify, articulate and monitor progress against standards of behavior and performance. Address any personnel issues to promote a productive and supportive work environment.

Design, implement and oversee an efficient and patient-centered patient navigation program that incorporates responsibilities and activities for front office and nursing teams.

Identify and propose recommendations to Leadership colleagues that would expand or improve the quality of service and care.

Review appropriate written policies/procedures on an ongoing basis, ensure appropriate documentation of revisions, and communicate to all staff in a timely manner.

Perform spot audits in various work flow and processes to assure quality and continuous improvement.

Develop and/or assist with all necessary administrative responsibilities involving machinery, equipment, supplies, etc. Monitor and manage use of and inventory of supplies.

Manage and oversee various marketing and business development initiatives.

Serve as mentor and coach to others.

Serve as active and collaborative participant in management and/or inter-disciplinary teams or committees.

Manage Telecom, Information Technology, Electronic Medical Records and Digital Signage platforms to ensure optimum efficiency and quality/accuracy.

Work collaboratively with leadership team on maintaining Center’s Continuing Quality Improvement (CQI) monthly reporting to satisfy the American College of Radiology (ACR) Accreditation.

Maintain and oversee the effective execution of the Center’s Infection Control and HIPPA programs.

To compete for this position, candidates will need

Compliance with annual immunization requirements.

Associates Degree in related field is preferred.

No less than three (3) years of front office/patient navigation experience in a medical practice setting.

Experience above needs to include no less than one (1) year of supervisory or lead experience.
