Medical Assistant

A specialty clinic in Anchorage is hiring an energetic, self motivated, detail oriented full time medical assistant to perform clinical duties and front office work.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Hippa compliance

Maintain patient confidentiality

Take vital signs

Perform basic clinic lab tests

Assist MD with procedures

Autoclave instruments

Collect payment and schedule follow up appointment

Rx refill

Prior authorization

Patient referral

Answer phone calls

Prepare charts

File, scan, fax, copy

Inventory supplies

Work schedule is Monday to Friday 9 am - 5 pm, no weekends, no major holidays.

Successful candidates must pass comprehensive background checks.
