This position offers REMOTE work, with customer core support in the GDIT Falls Church, Virginia office. Office space in Falls Church is also available if desired.At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Senior Pricing Analyst supporting the Defense Division, you will be trusted to prepare complex pricing proposals in response to customer requests for proposals. In this role, a typical day will include:Interfacing with technical personnel responsible for estimates

Working with Capture Manager in development of price strategy

Analyzing estimates of labor, material, equipment, and other direct costs

Ensuring the timely generation of pricing submissions and compliance with solicitation requirements and established review / approval process

Utilizing overall knowledge of company bid-rate structure to complete assignments within extremely tight and strict proposal schedules

Responsible for the preparation of a fully compliant and competitive cost and pricing volume, establishing, and coordinating schedules, cost/price model development, and cost narrative

Possesses and applies expertise in matters of proposal preparation

Writes effective, clear, concise correspondence. Interacts effectively with internal and external clients in the best interests of the corporation

Exercises discretion and independent judgment in support of pricing matters

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:12+ years’ experience in cost proposal preparation for Government contracts OR Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years' experience in cost proposal preparation

Microsoft Excel: must be able to develop large, complex spreadsheets

Knowledge of FAR/DFAR

Proficient in MS Word
