And our work depends on a Senior Subcontracts Administrator joining our team. In the role of a Senior Subcontracts Administrator for the GSS program, a typical day would include:Participates in the development, negotiation, and administration of assigned NDAs, TAs, Subcontracts, commercial agreements, and other related agreements in accordance with client requirements, local international laws and GDIT policies and procedures.

Most of the work would be supporting contract negotiations overseas with vendors and suppliers.

Ability to quickly move from one action to another with a fabulous memory with attention to details and a quick learner.

Participates in the capture process by communicating and understanding the GDIT solution and sharing that with the subcontractor teammates and providers in order to obtain data calls (i.e., pricing, past performance, and due diligence), assessing the responses received, and coordinating communications.

Ensures timely processing of subcontract negotiations for fair and reasonable pricing as well as terms and conditions with assistance from peers or management and input from relevant stakeholders. Ability to work closely with a team located all over the world and ability to document the technical analysis of proposals completed mainly during team discussions. Includes working with overseas companies and foreign entities.

Creates and maintains compliant audit files in accordance with customer requirements, local laws and GDIT policies and procedures.

Generates reports on subcontract activity as required, must be detailed oriented and willing to at times work odd hours supporting efforts in different time zones.

Serves as a liaison and facilitator between the program team and the subcontractor regarding contracting issues.

Initiates and maintains a network of communication with GDIT internal stakeholders as well as external suppliers.

Participates in special projects as required.

Ability to shift from a subcontract’s role to potentially a contracts role for meetings and proposal preparation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or related work experience.

6+ years of related experience in contracts, subcontracts administration, supply chain or large procurement activities.

Skills and AbilitiesFamiliar with the Microsoft suite including word and excel.

Effective administrative and organizational skills both written and oral

Ability to juggle multiple RFPs and subcontracts status and actions

Effective communication skills including working with English as a second language vendors and team members.

Ability to operate and negotiate independently and escalating when necessary

Ability to read local counsel opinions and apply to GDIT and the program needs and constraints.

Problem solving skills and ability to juggle a volume of different activities on any given day.

Customer service skills, attention to detail, and responsiveness and highly productive in high stress situations.
