The Financial Analyst will analyze invoices and contracts, manage and develop purchase requests, assist with budgeting for the entire IT department, provide support for internal and external audits, create and manage SharePoint List, build workflows, and assist with other responsibilities necessary for the department’s operations. This position will work closely with stakeholders within the IT department, the Baptist Health organization, and Baptist’s portfolio of vendors.As a Financial Analyst, you will analyze the organization’s financial status by collecting, monitoring, and studying financial data to recommend actions to business leaders. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for ensuring that the ITWorks organization maintains good stewardship of client financial resources and for assisting in the continued maturation of the department’s financial, procurement, and operational processes. You will be responsible for analyzing financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts, etc.) and issues related to the company’s financial goals and standing. This will include review analysis, variances, and trends to recognize and propose areas of opportunity to improve the company’s financial performance and standing. You will create reports to summarize financial data and highlight status and risks for leadership as well as conduct business studies on past, future, and comparative performance and develop forecast models.
