Business Analyst

Position: Business Analyst Duration: 1 year, extendible Location: Montgomery, AL (Onsite from day1) Position Description -Work closely with vendor Business Analysts and System/Application Administrators and client data extraction team to coordinate the business decisions and activities related to conversion. Skills Required -Deep knowledge and understanding of operation workflows/processes -Deep knowledge and understanding of governance and compliance expected from providing solutions in systems and technology domains -Strong functional understanding of commercial lending process a big plus -Strong verbal and written and communication skills -Coordinate User Acceptance Testing to include data conversion, extraction, transform, and load (ETL) cycles and fixes to be implemented by vendor and client. -Develop and document new business processes to include data migration plan -Lead personnel with performance of data mapping activities, complete data mapping CDF spreadsheets, data mapping meetings, and respond to questions or request for information during regular business hours -Work with the team to analyze data to identify patterns or trends to help reach a solution -Assist in evaluation possible solutions to determine the best solution -Create documents and reports to summarize your findings and recommendations -Communicate recommendations to all levels in an organization -Utilize data analytics software and programs as needed to complete data extraction from legacy systems and provide to vendor in agreed upon common data format Skills Preferred -JIRA experience a big plus Experience Required -At least 3-5+ combined years of Financial Services industry and professional services consulting experience including Client delivery -5+ years of experience in business systems analysis, configuration, or design Experience Preferred Education Required Bachelor's degree in Business, Banking, IT or equivalent experience required Education Preferred
