ARMED SECURITY OFFICER; $16.85 per hour.

Part-time Armed Security Officers; Full-time hours available after Probationary period. Full-time Officers are selected from the part-time/Reserve workforce. Once you prove yourself, you are eligible to be promoted to full-time. This is for a Federal contract protecting the personnel and assets of the United States Coast Guard, Mobile Aviation Training Center.

Must have current ASRB armed guard license.

Total hourly compensation is $16.85 per hour.

$12.63/hour PLUS $4.22/hour Health and Welfare (Health/Dental/Eye Insurance) or cash in lieu.

If you do not need health insurance, then the $4.22/hour is added onto your hourly wage up to 40 hours per week.

Candidates must have a minimum 1 year of armed security, civilian law enforcement or an equivalent position with the US Armed Forces. Must be fluent in speaking and writing in English. Proficiency in basic computer skills is a plus. Applicant must be able to meet medical/physical requirements. Prior experience with the Remington 870 shotgun, M4 Patrol Rifle and .40 caliber platforms is preferred. YOU MUST QUALIFY WITH THESE WEAPONS TO BE EMPLOYED ON THIS CONTRACT. Certification in ASP and OC a plus. Training provided and License renewals paid for by the company.

Must be a US citizen, pass Background and Drug Tests and have a valid driver's license.
