ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT (EAISP-21-0862-F): Bowhead is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our Gunter Annex Air Force base team in Alabama. The position supports the US Air Force and candidates with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and US Air Force Business Enterprise Systems experience are highly encouraged to apply. Essential duties include: • Analyzing complex local and wide area network systems, including planning, designing, evaluating, selecting operating systems and protocol suites and configuring communication media with concentrators, bridges and other devices. • Resolving difficult interoperability problems to obtain operation across all platforms including e-mail, files transfer, multimedia, teleconferencing and the like. • Configuring systems to user environments. • Supporting the acquisition of hardware and software as well as subcontractor services. • May act as a technical project leader or provide work leadership for lower level employees. About this Contract: Bowhead provides Enterprise and System Architecture Support to the US Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Gunter Annex in Montgomery, Alabama. The AFLCMC/HIC Enterprise Architecture Services Group encompass the following disciplines within architecture: application or solution architecture, data architecture, and architecture maintenance. Requirements • BA/BS degree in Computer Sciences, IT or similar is required • A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience is required • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level, candidates with an active Secret are highly encouraged to apply.
