You will help shape the future of our IT organization by leveraging creative ideas utilizing the many benefits of ServiceNow as a key enabling platform in our organization. Responsibilities:- The ServiceNow Solutions Architect is responsible for working with business stakeholders to ensure that ServiceNow Architecture and Platform configurations are designed to enable internal customers and support their needs
- Provide solution architecture leadership, expertise and delivery for ServiceNow based initiatives with focus on portability, maintainability, user experience, security, integrity and performance of the platform
- Execute architectural solutions in capacity as a ServiceNow subject matter expert, compliance monitor, and a go-to architectural authority on projects
- Propose and provide solution options, business cases, prototypes and walk-throughs to all required levels of stakeholders
- Provide recommendation for solution options and gain acceptance / approvals of selected final solution
- Define coding standards, methodology and patterns for ServiceNow Development Team in conformance with best practices and standards
- Identify opportunities to improve, streamline and optimize the overall platform.
- Demonstrate self-managed innovation philosophy and approach in defining architectural strategies, technology roadmap that compliments capabilities roadmap and hands-on leadership.
- Coach Application Architects in coordination with Enterprise architect to improve quality and introduce innovation into our solution.
- Help investigate and diagnose escalated, complex incidents, problems and defects, and collaborate with internal technical teams and vendors for root cause determination and resolution.
- Recommend design modifications and enhancements to maximize availability and performance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards for information and platform security.
- Engage with key stakeholders to fully understand their requirements and manage expectations at a platform/ module level.
- Support communication and training efforts, run workshops and training sessions where required.
- Identify upcoming platform release opportunities and stay current with the relevant areas of current and next versions of ServiceNow.

- 10+ years Industry experience, in architecture and delivery of software products and solutions.
- Must have 5+ years of experience in technology architecture and implementation on the ServiceNow platform
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or other related field or higher (preferred)
- Must have current ServiceNow certifications as Systems Administrator and Application Developer
- Ideal candidate should have architecture level experience with Quebec, or Rome Releases, has performed hands-on implementations within ServiceNow for ITSM, ITBM, GRC or Scoped Apps and is not hesitant to code or perform code reviews to coach technology team.
- Review opportunities for innovation in ServiceNow and be a hands-on articulator of ServiceNow's capabilities to customers, architecture practice and bring business.
- Good knowledge of forward looking ServiceNow capabilities - Predictive Intelligence, NowMobile, Virtual Agent, Flow Designer, Process Automation Designer, UI Builder and Catalogue Builder.
- Ability to work in a multi-national organization and work closely with offshore development teams
- Ability to manage multiple customers, complex projects, and multiple initiatives
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations, work in fast-paced environment with multiple initiatives and rapidly changing priorities.
- Knowledge and experience in Agile Methodology
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
- Travel up to 10% if not in Hermitage (While 10% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.
- Fundamental understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including: SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST API, SCP, FTPS
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong presentation development and Customer Presentation skills
- Appropriate Cloud Technology experience is strongly preferred
- Experience with reporting tools for complex ServiceNow reporting
- Experience working with SAFe development processes.
- ITIL v3 certification is a plus
