Aerotek is seeking to hire a Bench Repair Avionics Technician to perform repair of communication, navigation, autopilot, multifunction displays, and other avionics equipment at the component and circuit card level.This is a long-term position intended for permanent hire with a prominent avionics company, with training and growth opportunity.Inspect, test, troubleshoot and repair customer returned component level equipment in accordance with approved documentation
Provide technical assistance and related support for modification campaigns and special investigations
Inform the Technical Support group of recurring failure modes, CMM errors, software problems and all other occurrences affecting the operation or the effectiveness of the FAA Repair Station
Document all repairs according to regulatory, customer and departmental requirements
Qualifications:3 years of avionics component repair
Repair experience in one or more of the following technologies is highly desired - COM/NAV, Surveillance, Autopilot , Multifunction Displays
FCC license and/or Military Experience highly preferred
