Senior Software Developer - Java

Primary ResponsibilitiesDesign architectures, including the software, hardware and communications, to support the total requirements, as well as to provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces. Interact with project management to plan project schedules and technical direction. Provide quality assurance review and the evaluation of existing and new software products. Develop high-level system design diagrams for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation. Develop and implement moderate to complex web applications on one or more platforms. Test, code, and debug new software and make enhancements to existing software according to specs. Performance maintenance on existing software products. Assist in the development of user manuals. Plan and manage implementation and integration of new technologies. Solve highly technical and complex problems on multiple projects and provide consultative support to internal staff.Additional responsibilities include:•Architect, Design, and Build applications for prescription Prior Authorization analysis and determination•Code Reviews•Bug Fixing•Unit testing applications during development•Integration Testing•Application Support•Application Deployments Summary of Qualifications•Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or similar discipline•Detail-oriented individual with the willingness to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies•Quick learner who can master and manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision and a flexible positive attitude•Strong written and oral communication skills•Test Driven Development experience•Senior level Object-oriented design skills•Develops solutions requiring analysis, algorithms and research•Works on small to large, complex projects that require increased skill in multiple technical environments and possesses knowledge in a specific business area•Works on one or more projects as a project team member, and occasionally as a team leader•Eight (8) or more years of IT work experience in software development, installation and modification in an online environment desired•Master's preferred•Working knowledge of Java, Javascript, HTML, CSS, SQL (MySQL), Linux, Windows, and Spring Framework preferred•Azure Cloud experience preferred•Ruby experience preferred•ReactJs/AngularJs experience preferred•Machine Learning experience preferredLocation: Auburn area Terms and AgreementsBy submitting a job application, I attest that all information to the best of my knowledge is true and accurate.
