RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce's client, a growing company in Fairfield County is in search of a Software Engineer to join their growing team!

Main Responsibilities and Tasks: Software Engineer will work in both co-located and distributed self-organizing teams developing embedded software for Broadcast Video applications; Applications include LED studio lighting, high power battery systems, and cloud-based software Perform tasks including requirements analysis, operational concept development, software design and development, design reviews, and general problem solving As a Software Engineer, you will collaborate closely with teammates, making and keeping daily commitments, and demonstrating your accomplishments to the company on a biweekly basis Demonstrate, understand, and apply new technology and approaches to solving complex problems

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering; A strong candidate will have an Advanced degree, MSCS preferred 2+ years of experience with Product Development and working in a team environment Experience programming in embedded C/C Excellent communicator Experience writing and conducting Validation and Verification plans

Desirable: Experience with Atmel, Microchip, & Renesas MCUs & Development Tools Development with WIZnet W5500 & ESP32 SoC Knowledge of control loops and digital/analog electronics fundamentals Experience with LED lighting and color theory Working knowledge of entertainment technology standards DMX512, RDM, sACN, & Art-Net Experience with object oriented and modular software design Experience programming in C/C#/Python Experience with software tools such as Jira/SVN/Git Someone who thrives on solving problems and working in a team environment Working knowledge of embedded RTOS concepts
