Position Overview:

As a Sous Chef at our establishment, you will play a crucial role in the kitchen's day-to-day operations, supporting the Executive Chef in leading our team in delivering exceptional dishes. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to advance in your career.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Executive Chef in menu development and execution, ensuring each dish meets our high standards of quality and creativity.

Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.

Ensure the kitchen adheres to health and safety regulations, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

Participate in staff training and development initiatives, promoting continuous learning and culinary excellence.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Sous Chef

A deep understanding of recipes and ingredients, with a passion for culinary innovation.

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively

Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

A commitment to upholding health and safety standards in the kitchen.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume kitchen

Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred

Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends

Excellent leadership and communication skills

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional dishes

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Being bilingual is a plus!
