Landscape Install Company Seeking Crew Members

We are currently looking to fill a crew position for a Landscape Construction Company. We are a design build company. We install hardscape projects such as custom fences, garden structures, patios, paths, retaining walls, decks, etc. We also install planting plans and micro-irrigation.

We are looking for someone who is looking for full time work, who can work under pressure and meet the demanding deadlines that are required to complete each project.

This position is seasonal. Hours may reduce in the winter months. Normally Mid December to February. This position is also outdoors. Summers can get hot and winters can be cold and rainy.

Must be able to start immediately.

Experience:

Must have at least 1 year experience in landscape construction or related industry. Experience with ANY of the following:

Building Block and Rock Walls

Installing Pavers and Flagstone

Building decks, fences and other carpentry skills

Operating machines such as skid steers, excavators, compactors, etc

Installing Fire pits and water features

An understating of landscape terminology and plant materials

Soil preparation and plant installation

Familiar with Irrigation and drainage

Abilities:

All team member must be punctual, stellar at construction landscape, detail-oriented, have reliable transportation, be able to work outdoors in inclement weather, give and take direction well, and work as a part of a team to achieve common goals.

Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record

Must be able to regularly lift 50 lbs through a regular 8-hour workday

Comfortable with technology (smartphones / tablets)

Follow directions provided at yard and through smartphone applications

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, willing to work hard at a steady pace doing physical work.

Must be willing to take precautions during hot summer weather by covering up and using sunscreen.

Must be willing to take precautions during rainy could weather by dressing appropriately and wearing rain gear.

$20+an hour depending on experience
