Accountant

Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Oracle Accountant to join our team on a project basis and assist with the completion of our systems conversion to Oracle. The primary responsibilities of this role will include completing Fixed Asset reconciliation and bank reconciliation tasks within the Oracle system. Additionally, the selected candidate will be expected to provide support in training other accounting staff members in the Oracle system and participate in various projects that require strong familiarity with Oracle Finance. This position may require occasional in-office presence.Key Responsibilities:

Complete Fixed Asset reconciliation and bank reconciliation tasks within the Oracle system.

Assist in the training of accounting staff members on the Oracle system.

Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely completion of financial tasks.

Participate in other projects related to Oracle Finance as assigned.

Utilize Excel proficiency to reconcile financial data and reports.

Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Proven experience working with Oracle Finance, including system reconciliation tasks.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial reconciliation purposes.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Prior experience in an educational or similar setting is preferred but not required.

Willingness to occasionally work in-office as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in training and mentoring accounting staff.

Familiarity with other accounting software systems is beneficial.
