South Side Inn - Housekeeping

South Side Inn is hiring a Hotel Housekeeper

We are a small (21 room), quiet, family owned hotel in South Burlington

We are seeking to fill one part time Housekeeping position - Saturday, Sunday, Monday from 10am-2pm. $20-$25/hour depending on experience.

Ideal candidates will be detailed oriented and have the ability to work efficiently and independently, provide friendly customer service to guests, and work well with fellow staff to coordinate smooth operations.

Responsibilities include:

- Cleaning, organizing, and maintaining guest rooms and other public areas and appliances

- Daily cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms and kitchenettes, changing bedding, taking out trash/recycling, dusting and polishing, detailing appliances, vacuuming; following safety and sanitation policies

- Replenishing amenities like towels, soap and shampoo

- Transporting laundry between guest rooms and in house laundry room. Spot treat linens and towels, run through washing machine, dry, fold and prepare for the next day

- Restocking supply closets and cleaning carts with cleaning products, linens, and amenities

- Changing light bulbs, reporting maintenance issues, room damages, equipment or appliance malfunctions to the manager.

- Job requires lifting, carrying, and walking up and down stairs.

Experience in customer service and housekeeping preferred, but will train the right candidate.
