Job Description

Title - Big Data Architect Location – Tampa, FL

Job Summary • Must Have Skills o 10 15 years of total experience out of which 5 years in Big Data • Experience in and strong knowledge of Big Data ecosystem including Hadoop HDFS Spark Ignite REDIS GEMFIRE Sqoop Map Reduce • Should have a very good understanding of In Memory Data Grids o Must have experience working as Lead data architect and Technical lead Design lead or similar roles in data centric organizations • Must have worked on building a robust big data architecture • Design and set up of HDFS and Hive structures with security and access controls • Hadoop MapR cluster User Group management managing data volumes • Hadoop MapR cluster setting up and managing queues and ACL • Design and implement automation routines and frameworks • User access provisioning o Understanding Hadoop Administration and network • Issue and problem resolution related to Hadoop jobs • Troubleshooting and performance tuning o Experience with on prem and cloud • Must be able to create high quality detailed design architecture artifacts • Good Communication o should possess the ability to present design architecture to stakeholders

Good to have • Financial Services experience is a plus • Good understanding of Metadata management and tools • Knowledge of APIs Microservice and Integration design is a plus • Strong knowledge of ETL Tools Data Prep tools Metadata tools • Assist application teams to support data Integration technologies in Hadoop such as Talend Ab Initio • Experience building custom integration between products is a plus • Experience with workflow tools is a plus • Strong knowledge of and experience in Data Warehousing platforms and architecture • Hadoop Certification o Ability to lead mentor team members if required • Ability to work in matrixed environment • Working knowledge of Agile delivery methodology Consulting experience is a plus
