Senior Software Engineer- Ruby on Rails

We are again supporting an Austin success story with the continued growth in their engineering team. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help solve challenging back end issues with Ruby On Rails.Our client is a hyper-growth, ecommerce, and direct-to-consumer company based in Austin, TX that is thriving amidst the pandemic. They are hiring locally and throughout the US, and can provide in-office, beautiful accommodations downtown once that is deemed safe, but will be offering remote working arrangements for those that are interested. Due to their rapid growth, we'll be looking for a handful of both backend and full-stack engineers.While this is a 100% remote position, a slight preference will be given to candidates currently in - or open to relocating to - Austin, Texas.

• Object Oriented Programming
• Ruby on Rails (If you currently work with other languages like Python, Java, etc that would be perfect)
• React, Javascript, HTML, and CSS
• RESTful web services, API integrations, and HTTP protocol
• Agile sprint environment and associated best practices
• DevOps pipelines a plus: Jenkins, AWS Codebuild, Docker, etc
• Automated testing
