Traveling Welder

Housing and transportation is provided while on projects (usually Candlewood hotel and rental car or similar). This position involves full time travel to job sites throughout the United States to weld large diameter water pipe and other misc. welding work. Must have experience welding Dual Shield (FCAW) and be able to pass a 3G and 4G plate test. You do not need to be currently certified, we will certify you. Many projects require only one welder working with a General Contractor so employees must manage themselves and be willing to jump in and help where needed. National employees must be safe, self motivated, have a positive attitude, be able to problem solve, set up equipment, and complete the work without direct supervision. Applicants familiar with the FCAW welding process but requiring more experience may be considered as a welder's helper and will be trained.
