Hourly / Salary: BOE + up to 10% bonus structure (upon conversion)

JOB SUMMARY

Vaco Technology is currently seeking a UI/UX Manager for a 6M C2H opportunity that is 100% remote-based. The UI/UX Manager will be responsible for the overall experience quality for a set of products and workflows. The UI/UX Manager will lead a multidisciplinary UX/UI team made up of UX, IxD, and UI Designers to deliver the best possible experience for customers and end-users. The UI/UX Manager will be highly focused on the UI, visual, and interaction design. The UI/UX Manager will work alongside UX Researchers / Designers, Product Managers and Engineering Teams to explore, build, and launch ideas.

  • Lead UI/UX Team through Fast-Moving Landscape
  • Establish Clear Definitions of Quality to Enable Teams to Create Exceptional UX on Projects
  • Manage Design Teams Timelines / Capacity / Deadlines
  • Lead Design Projects / Execute Visual Design to Create Engaging / Intuitive Digital Experiences
  • Translate Customer Insights / UX Architecture into Tangible Design Deliverables
  • Produce Best in Class Visual / Brand Designs to Established / Prospective Customers
  • Own / Evolve Design Systems / Lead Designers - Cultivate Coherent Look / Feel Across Digital Products
  • Utilize Industry Standard Design Tools to Create UI / Interactive Prototypes / Interactions with Customers.
  • Identify / Utilize Tools / Processes for Efficiency / Elevate the Digital Experience for Customers
  • Actively Engage / Interact with Key Stakeholders

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • UI/UX Management (2+ years) - Manage a Team of Product Designers in a Multidisciplinary UX Environment / Recruit and Build Diverse UI/UX Design Teams
  • UI/UX Design Experience (5+ years) - Create / Maintain / Evolve Scalable Enterprise Designs
  • End-to-End Iterative Product Design Process (advanced) - Develop and Use Personas / Journey Mapping / Content Modeling / Wireframing / Prototyping (Interactive Prototyping) / User Testing / High-Fidelity Visuals / Development Handoff, etc.
  • Create Design Deliverables - Information Architecture Diagrams / Wireframes / Conceptual Sketches / Prototypes / Screen Flows, etc.
