Freelance Web Content Specialist

Description Robert Half's marketing & creative client is looking for a Freelance Web Content Specialist for a 6 - 8+ week contract in the Portland, ME area. This is a remote, 8 - 10 hour-per-week opportunity; if local candidates are interested in meeting onsite, the client is happy to have them. The Web Content Specialist will be responsible for updating and maintaining their eCommerce website across product categories, landing pages, SEO, and campaigns. Familiarity with Magento, Drupal, Shopify or similar CMS platform is required. Familiarity with eCommerce best practices is a huge plus. If interested and available, apply today! Requirements

Degree in marketing, communications, or similar

2+ years of web content management experience

Familiarity with eCommerce industry and best practices a plus

Experience with web templates

Knowledge of SEO best practices

Prior Magento, Drupal, Shopify (or similar) platform experience

HTML/CSS knowledge a plus

Self-starter

Detail-oriented

Excellent communication and project management skills
