Position:

A Behavior Therapist works one-on-one with clients, in-home, school or community setting. A Behavior Therapist utilizes highly structured, evidence-based treatment programs that are geared toward the specific client's needs. A Behavior Therapist uses the principles of behavior analysis to help clients improve social, play, language and adaptive skills, while helping reduce challenging behaviors that get in the way of the client's every day functioning. A Behavior Therapist is required to be reliable and maintain accurate data keeping and time sheets. Driving is also required, areas serviced: Newberg, Sherwood, Oregon City, Tigard, Portland, Lake Oswego, Beavercreek, Beaverton, Vancouver, Ridgefield, Gresham, Willsonville, Damascus, Oregon City, Greshan, Hillsboro.

QUALIFICATIONS:

-Minimum experience of 1 year working with children and/or adolescents with behavioral needs or in an educational/school setting.

-Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Behavior Analysis or related field

-Must have interest in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis

-Reliable means of transportation with proof of auto insurance

-No past criminal history, must pass tuberculosis test

-Professional, organized, punctual, caring, patient and strong professional references

-Basic Computer Skills

- 1 year commitment

-Prior ABA experience preferred, but not mandatory.

-Registered Behavior Technician preferred, but not mandatory

-Must be available on Saturday' morning and evenings
