Description We are inviting applications for the role of Document Controller in the non-profit industry. Based in Hillsboro, Oregon, the successful candidate will be involved in the coordination and management of various documents and contracts, ensuring their accuracy and timely distribution. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Coordinating with various departments to understand their document needs Managing contracts and solicitations with attention to detail Establishing effective communication with external parties Ensuring the proper management of certificates of insurance Overseeing a limited number of construction projects, ensuring all documents are received within specified timelines Demonstrating expertise in contract administration by creating documents and defining scopes of work in collaboration with Project Managers Offering strong administrative assistance to support the daily operations of the team Utilizing software such as Oracle, MS Office Suites, and Adobe for efficient document control and management Upholding the highest standards of confidentiality in handling sensitive information Ensuring clear and effective communication with different personalities and approaches within the organization. Requirements Applicant should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Document Control or a similar role within a non-profit organization. Proficiency in using Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suites, including Excel, is a must. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive documents with discretion. Experience in managing correspondence, including drafting letters and emails. Demonstrated skills in Document Control, ensuring accuracy, quality, and integrity of documents. Familiarity with Contract Administration processes and procedures. Proven experience in providing Administrative Assistance, including scheduling, organizing, and supporting meetings. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proactive with a problem-solving mindset.
