Lead Painter- Level Custom

Oregon, Deschutes Painting is looking painter will be responsible for overseeing painting projects, ensuring quality workmanship, and coordinating with other trades.

Lead Painter (3 vacancies available): $32- $37 per hour, DOE

Prep. Painter (4 vacancies available): $22- $26 per hour, DOE

Duties:

- Lead and supervise painting projects from start to finish

- Prepare surfaces for painting including sanding, scraping, and patching

- Apply paint or other finishes to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, or sprayers

- Coordinate with contractors and other trades to ensure project timelines are met

- Inspect work for quality control and adherence to specifications

- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Experience:

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

- Experience in construction painting and renovation projects

- Ability to read blueprints and follow project specifications

- Knowledge of basic math for measuring and calculating materials

- Proficiency in various painting techniques including masonry and fixture installation

- Carpentry skills for minor repairs or modifications during painting projects

- Experience in remodeling projects such as wall repairs or build-outs
