Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description If you're an efficient worker with experience as an Accounts Receivable (A/R) professional, Robert Half has a career-building opportunity for you to consider. Provide information, as requested to the sales/marketing department, shippers, customers, and other stakeholders

Be an ambassador of the mission, values, and culture of the organization

Process payments and compile segments of annual reports and monthly closings in compliance with GAAP

Balance bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in a number of different ledgers

Help resolve payment issues by contacting clients, assist in setting up payment plans

Pinpoint delinquent customer accounts through various means, including skip-tracing, phone contact, written correspondence, and make arrangements for payment

Verify codes and documents

Requirements

Accounts Receivable (AR) experience

Manufacturing industry experience preferred

Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Efficient in ERP systems, primarily Oracle-based system

Proven analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy

Reliable skills in Microsoft Office with excellent Excel skills
