Description: Hi there, we’re Lendly! Committed to world-class customer service, Lendly, LLC, is a late stage fin-tech startup that wants to flip the paradigm on the entire online lending experience with unique solutions that better fit our customer’s needs.We are seeking an experienced Interaction Designer to focus on our customer-facing web experience. As a fully online company, our customers engage with us first via the web then with an agent via chat or phone. These critical interactions drive real value for the customer and the business and leave a lasting impression of our brand. Continual investment in user experience leads to positive outcomes and we are looking for a professional to lead this effort. You will use your passion for the UX discipline, building high quality products, performing customer research, collaborating with Product and Engineering, and unlocking key results.This position will report to the CTO.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead research and design of customer interactions with the Lendly platform
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers and stakeholders to align on UX, product goals and platform capabilities
  • Create a holistic vision for customer interaction with the Lendly platform including web, mobile and communications channels
  • Communicate and document through mockups, wireframes, diagrams and prototypes
  • As part of a product team, continually measure interactions and iterate on designs
  • Engage in discussions with customers to understand pain points and test designs
  • Assist in establishing standards and processes for UX discipline at the company

Required Skills:
  • 5+ years interaction design experience with web- or mobile- based products
  • Deep experience with web standards, responsive web design and design languages
  • Experience in customer research
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience working on product teams
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD or similar
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and design frameworks such as Bootstrap
