Associate Principal Specialist Solution Architect - Ansible

The North America Financial Services Red Hat Sales team is seeking a Specialist Solution Architect. In this role, you will support the Ansible Sales team and provide pre-sales technical support to prospects. You'll work with key Financial Services customers both on site and remotely to build a relationship of trust and confidence between Red Hat and the customer's engineering, development, and operations teams. To be successful, you'll need to gain an understanding of the customer's business needs and align those needs with the capabilities of our solutions. You will also play a crucial role in bringing together internal cross-functional teams to satisfy our most challenging customers. You'll serve as the customer's advocate with these teams to architect the best solution and ensure that it is implemented and supported in an innovative and reliable way.What you will do
Deliver successful Red Hat Ansible workshops of both technical and non-technical backgrounds that shape and influence customer use cases and architecture design decisions.
Scope evaluations and guide customers through successful proofs of concept and pilot deployments.
Work closely with internal product teams, Product Engineering, Professional Services, Support, and Sales to ensure a world-class customer experience with Red Hat’s products
Contribute to the development of repeatable methodologies and tools designed to scale Red Hat’s services capabilities, promote repeatable customer engagements, and lower delivery risk.
Demonstrate thought leadership in the Ansible communities by producing world-class white papers, webinars, etc., and speaking at industry leading conferences.
What you will bring
10+ years of IT industry experience, working in regulated industries including finance, government, healthcare and power
Solid Linux system administration skills at the level Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or higher
Expert in Ansible development and in the Ansible Automation Platform
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent experience
Solid background in consultative customer engagement with a major professional services organization or within the services division of a major software company
Track record of working in a strategic advisory role to senior IT and business executives
Outstanding verbal and written communications skills, including extensive experience presenting to C-level executives at large firms
Solutions-sales mentality in an environment with multiple products and services
Ability to work seamlessly with distributed, cross-functional teams to achieve success on behalf of customers
Excellent balance of strategic and tactical skills with a high level of intellectual agility and capacity for original thought
Willingness to travel up to 80%
Business-level communication and presentation skills
The salary range for this position is $162,950.00 - $260,830.00 (inclusive of base pay + target incentive compensation). Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.Pay TransparencyRed Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity.
