HR Business PartnerLocation: Charlotte, NCPay Rate: $40-45/hourAssignment: TemporaryKelly Services has partnered with a premier customer in the Industrial Machinery Manufacturing industry seeking an HR Business Partner to support their team. Our client offers leading-edge technological advantages within a variety of markets including nuclear energy, aerospace, semiconductor, and many more. Serves as support to site leadership teams on human resources related issues
Partners with management to analyze trends, metrics and develops solutions, programs and policies to keep the organization moving forward
Designs and deliver targeted solutions with a high degree of focus on business expansion and optimization, including strategic planning, talent acquisition and management, development, change management and employee relations
Provides strategic business partnership, thought partnership, and coaching to all levels of the organization
Serves as primary contact for payroll and leave of absence processing and related issues
Proactively assess team, manager, organizational development needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions
Analyzes trends, market data, and metrics to propose solutions based on business needs
Drives talent management strategies to support a team’s growth and individual development plans
Analyzes training needs and partners with the broader HR team in the development of programs
Manages employee events and recognition activities at the site
Partners closely with other HR partners within the company on overall HR business strategy and execution
Works closely with leadership teams to support employee relations issues
Participates and leads projects as an integral member of the extended HR team and site leadership team
Job Qualifications
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Management, I/O Psychology, or related field. PHR or SHRM- CP certified.
Minimum Experience: 10+ years' experience in an HR Business Partner or equivalent role
Demonstrates strong judgment and experience assessing risk relative to the business
Effective communication and critical thinking skills
Demonstrates empathy and experience driving inclusion work
Demonstrated project management and change management experience
Demonstrated experience learning and thriving in a constantly changing environment and to cultivate relationships across teams
Experience using data to identify trends that drive action
Experience helping global and/or matrixed organizations
Experience with union populations a plus
Coaching facilitation skills and experience
Ability to create deep connections with individuals and teams to help identify individual and team development needs
