As a Senior Director of Manufacturing Strategy, Automation and Digitization, you will be responsible for leading and driving the automation and digitization initiatives within our Industrial Automation business unit as well as driving the execution of our manufacturing strategy. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement strategies that enhance operational efficiency, improve customer experience, and drive business growth through automation and digital transformation. You will play a key role in leveraging AI into our operations and implementing cutting edge technologies. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of industrial Automation technology and drive innovation in the industry.Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of our Industrial Automation manufacturing strategy for our global footprint of factories including the design and execution of Automated Digital Factories.
Lead the development and execution of automation, digitization and AI strategies to deliver on growth, productivity commitments, and leverage scale across Industrial Automation factories.
Ensure our automation strategies align with our safe factory imperatives and drive our global machine/process guarding initiatives.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and define project scopes & objectives; lead a team of engineers to execute projects on time and on budget that streamline processes, improve operational efficiency, and reduce costs.
Ensure that design for automation is incorporated in our new product launches.
Oversee the development and deployment of digital solutions to enhance customer experience and enable data-driven decision-making.
Manage a team of project managers, automation & digitization professionals and controls & robotic engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project execution.
US CITIZEN REQUIREMENTSMust be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in automation, digitization / Digital Factory and process optimization in the discrete industrial / commercial product manufacturing industry.
Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing automation and digitization initiatives leading global teams of engineers and project managers.
Strong understanding of automation technologies, such as robotic process automation (RPA), artificial intelligence (AI), digital factory and machine learning (ML).
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%
WE VALUE
Master's / Doctorate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Experience in driving digital transformation and implementing Industry 4.0 concepts
Knowledge of industrial automation industry trends and emerging technologies

Track record of managing multiple projects with demonstrated results on a macro scale
Experience leading a global team with direct line reporting responsibility
Extensive experience in supply chain operations and manufacturing processes and leading transformational improvements on a global scale.
