Job Summary/Company:

A Sparks Group Partner is seeking a

Senior Solutions Architect to join their team. The Architect is responsible for planning, defining, and communicating the solution architecture for a project. This is a contract role that is fully remote!

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership and communication of the solution architecture for a project which involves modifying existing applications or implementing a SaaS application and integrating it with other applications
• Develop the application, data, integration, infrastructure, network, security, and operation views of the architecture and their alignment with the business architecture
• Collaborate with enterprise domain and solution architects to ensure integrity of solution, alignment with enterprise architecture strategies, and adherence to reference architectures and standards
• Review technical design created by the implementation teams, validate feasibility of the proposed solution, and provide technical guidance to the teams during implementation
• Participate in project planning, maintain project architecture artifacts

Qualifications/Background Profile:

• B.S./B.A. degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years of experience architecting solutions surrounding various aspects such as application, data, integration, security, operations, and infrastructure
• Experience architecting the integration of SaaS applications with other applications
• Experience architecting solutions that support either finance, investments, tax, human resources, and other corporate functions OR marketing & distribution, new business, underwriting, and policy administration
• Experience using 1 or more architecture frameworks (e.g., FEAF, TOGAF, Zachman)
• Experience applying abstract architectural concepts at a project and enterprise level
