You’ll thrive in an environment that supports innovation, is committed to ending racism and supporting diversity, equity and inclusion, and provides the resources you need to succeed.ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Statistical Programmer, the candidate will support oncology clinical trials, typically, Phase II and Phase III, in a variety of disease settings. We are seeking someone who has a strong understanding of clinical trial data and uses protocol and study workflow knowledge to facilitate database design and creation activities. Collaborates in the maintenance and enhancement of paper forms, electronic forms, databases, electronic data capture tools, and data management systems. Key roles and responsibilities include:

Review clinical trial protocols and/or other study documents for accuracy and quality

Provide review and contribute to case report forms specifications to ensure critical data elements will be captured and collected appropriately

Critically reviews requirements and data, identifies gaps, suggests solutions, and applies expertise to improve efficiency of study build activities

Advise in the development of electronic data capture (EDC) systems of clinical trials (e.g., Medidata Rave, REDCap), including EDC design, edit checks and testing to ensure quality and efficiencies in support of study monitoring and analyses per protocol design.

Design, build, and test clinical databases within the Medidata Rave EDC system.

Assist in the improvement of existing systems and processes.

Interact with various teams including Data Management, Operations, and Clinical & Regulatory staff supporting clinical trials

Perform tasks with strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail focusing on delivering high quality results

Demonstrate the ability to work independently and remotely as well as in a team environment

Must be US citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee.QualificationsA minimum of a bachelor's degree with a major in statistics, biostatistics, bioinformatics, mathematics, computer science, data science or quantitative degree relevant to the current needs, along with a minimum of three years of applicable work experience.Demonstrated experience in programming, data management, database and form development, and/or statistical and/or bioinformatics analysis.Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with research systems, tools and applications; experience with SAS, R and/or Python is preferred.Ability to write custom, generalized software (R functions/libraries, SAS macros), and experience with Rave Architect is preferred.Applicable professional skills include organization, documentation, written and oral communication, and the ability to successfully manage multiple tasks with concurrent deadlines.A commitment to customer service with an attitude of owning the experience of each customer is required. Other instrumental attributes include logical and systematic thinking, basic knowledge of human physiology and/or medical terminology, and an interest in professional growth and continuing education.Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment is essential. Institutional knowledge is preferred.
