Major Not-For-Profit Based in Midtown Manhattan Has Immediate Opening for Qualified HR Benefits and Leave Administrator

Permanent Role with Benefits

Hybrid Role – 3 Days in Office a week

$83-$95K Annually

Salary Commensurate with Experience

Knowledge of FMLA, HIPAA Laws & ADA Act

Job Duties:

Perform benefits plan administration

Administer open enrollment

Reconcile checks with invoice claims

Provide point of contact with insurance brokers

Coordinate NYC and NYS employee leave of absence plans, benefits and legal entitlements including FMLA

Monitor employee leave periods and update status in HRIS system

Educate employees, manager, and staff regarding all leave absence policies and procedures

Create monthly leave reports and coordinate effectively with department requests

Ensure that all leave requests in compliance with company policies, federal and state guidelines

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field

2 years previous related experience

Computer proficiency (esp. M.S. Office Suite)

Knowledge of HIPAA, FMLA, ADA

Experience with HRIS systems a plus

Excellent verbal, written and inter-personal skills
