Morgan Stanley Research Technology is looking for a data scientist to help with designing and implementing complex Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence models and solving business problems using various Analytical and Big Data tools. The role will require the candidate to work independently with Research business and vendors on analyzing and defining problem statements, and work closely with development teams on designing and implementing the solution and managing the delivery of various products.The candidate should have the following skills:

3 years of experience in designing and implementing machine learning models in the following areas:

Supervised & Unsupervised Learning

Deep Learning (CNN, RNN, LSTM, Transformers)

Natural Language Processing (Sentiment Analysis, Embeddings, Summarization, Chatbot etc.)

Entity identification/extraction and knowledge discovery from structured and unstructured content

Ontology / Knowledge Graph

NLG / Gathering insights from large volume of unstructured data

Expert in Python, R, Spark, TensorFlow, SAS, Tableau, and other machine learning/analytical tools

Familiar with database systems such as DB2, Sybase, and Oracle

Experience in CPU/GPU cloud environments

Excellent communication skills and basic knowledge in finance

PhD (preferred) or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or other related fields
