Set at the base of the Shawangunk Mountains in Gardiner NY. , Lombarid's restaurant has been serving authentic Italian cuisine for over 50 years. We make our own pastas, sauces, breads and desserts, utilizing many of our families recipes. We take pride in our pasta making. In addition to fettuccini and spaghetti, we offer an eleven layer lasagna, assorted ravioli, manicotti and cavitelli. We encourage our chefs to create new menu items for our weekly specials, which gives them the opportunity to be creative, while also keeping our menu new and exciting.

We are looking for an experienced Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the kitchen, a passion for food preparation, and a strong work ethic. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing ingredients, following recipes, and adhering to food safety standards. The successful candidate will also have excellent multitasking skills and the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook meals in a timely manner.

Follow recipes and instructions accurately.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Ensure that all food is stored properly and safely.

Follow safety protocols for food handling.

Monitor food temperatures to ensure proper cooking.

Communicate with other cooks and kitchen staff.

Part-time or Full-time. Nights and weekends.

Pay: $20-23 per hour
