Safety Attendant-Fire Watch Temp Work May1-May8

Maintain conditions and requirements on the safety permit, monitoring confined space using gas monitors, watch for fire or hazards, responding appropriately with fire extinguisher and or calling the emergency number. Keeping area clean and maintaining communication while work is being performed. Keep track of entrants in the confined space per the permit , and only allowing them access. Stopping operations if you find any hazardous condition. Remaining at post until released by another attendant . When work is completed staying at post to watch for hot sparks or other fire hazards and returning all firefighting equipment and monitors. This is a 12 hour shift.
