Leading nationally recognized Santa Fe fine art business seeks a qualified Director of Finance and Administration.

This is a senior position responsible for the financial management and accounting of the business and its supporting entities, serves as the human resources manager, oversees our facilities operations and maintenance, and completes various administrative and community relations tasks as needed.

Meticulous attention to detail, strong communication skills, and reliability are paramount for success in this role. Responsibilities within a leadership role in working with staff to achieve goals, as well as an ability to collaborate effectively with others and all cross-functional teams will be a part of each workday. Position serves as a key advisor to senior management and owners.

Software proficiency requires expert knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, and Word for financial analysis, reporting to all areas of the business, and business management planning.

Financial management includes bookkeeping, A/R, A/P, cash management, bank reconciliations, financial statements, P & L budgeting and review, payroll preparations, support of tax planning, review of insurance coverages, and financial oversight of subsidiary companies and entities.

Human resources management includes the maintenance of personnel records and HR documentation; coordination with outside payroll service, implementation and enforcement of HR policies and procedures; recruitment efforts and support of the onboarding process; and overall staff support and the completion of performance reviews.

Facilities maintenance includes the coordination with vendors and contractors for repairs, renovations and general support of all private and public spaces. Management of our client areas is paramount to our success, which includes appearance, cleanliness and safety of all public spaces.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a financial and business management position. A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field is required. This is an on-site work environment, with a focus on communication, professionalism, staff support and the achievement of common goals of business success and growth.
