Satellite Installations

We are seeking a dedicated, hard working, self motivated individual to fill an open position in our installations division. This is a permanent 1099 contract position. All contract technicians must provide their own tools and a professional work truck. 1099's are filed at the end of the year, and technicians are responsible for their own taxes, taxes are not taken out weekly. Net seven pay period, paid weekly (Mondays). This is a full time position.

Installations typically take up to two hours to perform (plus travel). A standard installation consists of mounting and pointing the dish, grounding the system to a NEC approved point, running coaxial cable from the dish to the modem, configuring the modem and connecting it to the customers computer.

A qualified candidate will posses excellent customer skills, basic computer and networking skills, as well as residential and commercial construction knowledge. If a candidate meets these requirements they should be able to complete training fairly quickly. Training consists of an online course as well as much training in the field as required with a certified technician. Online training can start as soon as your background check is complete.
