Seasonal Employment Opportunity - Parking Enforcement Officer (Tahoe C

Placer County Department of Public Works is seeking applications to fill four (4) temporary/extra-help Parking Enforcement Officer vacancies in Tahoe.

This is a part-time seasonal position with the following duties:

-Patrols and issues parking citations where parking is controlled by County ordinance or code.

-Orders impounding of illegally parked vehicles as required.

-Advises public of parking regulations.

-Directs drivers to move illegally parked vehicles.

-Answers complaints and requests for information regarding parking regulations or violations.

-Maintains records

-Prepares and makes oral and written reports and court appearances as required.
