Powder Coating Set Up/Sprayer

Role and ResponsibilitiesThe Powder Coating Set Up/Sprayer is responsible for masking, paint selection, and programming the controller for automated sprayers and oven temperatures.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSREASONABLE ACCOMMODATIONS MAY BE MADE TO ENABLE INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES TO PERFORM THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS.

Ability to read and interpret drawings.

Understand paint call outs and masking requirements.

Understand programming of automated sprayer system.

Knowledge of reclaiming overspray paint.

Collaborate with shop personnel and project engineers.

The ability to identify paint type and color.

RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 2 years of experience with powder coating

Minimum 4 years of experience in precision sheet metal

Understanding of different powder curing needs

Ability to read and interpret drawings

Powder sprayer experience

New product introduction experience
