Finance Manager

Description We are in search of a Finance Manager to join our clients team in Omaha, Nebraska. The role involves overseeing the finance and accounting functions, with a specific focus on the food and beverage industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising day-to-day facility accounting tasks, managing internal controls and compliance, and overseeing human resources operations.Responsibilities: Oversee and maintain internal controls in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, ensuring compliance for tax reporting purposes. Supervise the process of recording manual journal entries and oversee various finance-related processes to ensure accounting records are complete and accurate. Manage and maintain budgeting and forecasting, including operating budget, monthly forecasting, capital budget, and cash flow analysis. Work with external auditors to complete the annual audit and issue audited financial statements. Manage and oversee all human resources operations, including recruitment activities, conducting new employee orientations, maintaining records of benefits plans participation, and coordinating training for managers and employees. Review and sign off financial statements, budget reports, and other analyses as needed in a timely and accurate manner. Manage the facility's cash flow needs, investing idle funds while maintaining a minimum operating account balance to fund operations. Handle all Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable functions. Advise management on appropriate resolution of employee relations issues and ensure compliance with legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions. Administer various Human Resources plans and procedures for all facility personnel.Requirements Proven experience as a Finance Manager with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role Proficient in Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services Familiarity with BlackLine, Concur, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Extensive knowledge and experience in Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) Demonstrated experience in Auditing and Billing Functions Proficiency in GAAP Accounting Experience in handling Month End Close procedures Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage, guide, and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used In-depth knowledge of financial law and risk management practices Proficient user of finance software Strong ethics, with a customer-oriented approach Well-organized with excellent leadership skills BSc/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus Professional certification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus.
