RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce is seeking a Senior PM to help with a large device migration in Maryland Heights, MO.
REQUIREMENTS: PMP is strongly preferred / must and will stand out Migration experience is a must Enterprise level migration experience Data Center knowledge/Infrastructure background to the core-data center intake process, knowledge of servers, networking, topology, must be able to -speak the lingo- to the infrastructure teams to build credibility Know what type of databases people are referring to, know about firewalls, ports, what is a server, what does it mean by creating a sever- what is the difference between virtual and hardware server what is needed to build both- Background knowledge of server build PM fundamentals- stressed he does not want a -box checker-, you have to work as a PM n this organization Ability to dig into details, find out what is really going on, get creative to get info needed Understand chain of command (go to immediate manager first, but understand that VP's and Senior Directors are stake holders- can't be afraid but understand proper communication process) Communication/documentation in clarity Will be managing communication with vendors, data center teams and Ideally wants someone with experience if we can Managing multiple projects at one time Expectations: Come in and hit the ground running, they don't have time to train on PM or infrastructure components Team/peers will be there to assist with questions- asking questions but asking the right questions and retaining information High expectationsKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
