JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a growth-focused senior network professional with cloud experience who has successfully led and/or supported modern network transformations. The ideal candidate will be a network specialist who bridges the gap between established enterprise LANs and emerging private cloud and public cloud implementations.

JOB DUTIES

Expertise in the design, deployment, management and troubleshooting of local and cloud networks, including:
Monitoring. Monitor the utilization, performance, and availability of the on-prem and cloud network infrastructure services, working with both out-of-the-box and customized alerting solutions
Design: Develop, implement and update detailed network designs and documentation including the following technologies: software-defined networking, network segmentation, and cloud networking components.
Integration. When required, perform network integration work to support hybrid cloud models, primarily connecting a private cloud with Azure.
Troubleshooting. Identify and resolve network problems while communicating status and progress. This task often extends into outage resolution and involves on-call rotations to ensure consistent support.
Automation: Manage cloud-native network technologies offered by Microsoft Azure leveraging Python, JSON, Terraform, Rest APIs and other automation technologies.
Security. Support the architecture, design, implementation and compliance efforts for effective cloud network security.

What you'll bring to the team

Education:

Bachelor's degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience.

Work Experience:

Extensive technical knowledge of enterprise networking and cloud solutions for very large environments, minimum 5 years' experience including experience with Cisco Nexus and Catalyst Devices and Azure ExpressRoute
Experience in routing and switching technologies including but not limited to BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
Experience with datacenter operations, including cabling, racking new equipment, and ensuring environmental, electrical and other facility-based requirements are met.

It would be even better if you also had

Azure ExpressRoute
Cisco Certifications (CCNA or above) a plus
Automation skills in at least one programming language, preferably Python and APIs as they relate to Network Automation
Knowledge of load-balancing technology, F5 specifically
Experience with Cisco ISE, DNAC and Wireless Implementation
Experience with Cisco ASA
