Welder 1 - any shift

NOW HIRING: We are looking for a Welder 1 (more of an entry-level) to join our team. A Welder 1 is responsible for performing MIG welding, layout, tacking, fabrication and building functions in the manufacture of various products in accordance with product specifications. Other combinations of formal training and experience will be considered. Successful completion of internal welding test is mandatory. Millerbernd Manufacturing Company is an AWS (American Welding Society) Sustaining Company Member. As a Welder 1, you will:

Perform MIG welding tasks to Welding Procedures Specifications (WPS)

Layout and tack to specifications

Use grinder or other appropriate tools to clean, smooth out, grind or finish parts as needed

Use various machines to fabricate, build, and design products

Repair improperly welded pieces and fill holes

Perform work at the appropriate pace to maintain quality and productivity requirements

Role Qualifications as a Welder 1:

Successful completion of internal welding test is mandatory

Proficient knowledge in interpreting blueprints, mechanical drawings, and weld symbols

Ability to operate hoists, cranes, and other powered industrial vehicles as needed

Ability to operate various power and hand tools

Knowledge of weld positioners, turners, fixtures and equipment

Salary disclaimer:

The actual base salary for this role is based on various factors, including but not limited to market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The range provided is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified. Other details:

Shift options:

1st shift is Monday - Thursday 5am – 3pm

2nd shift is Monday - Thursday 3pm – 1am includes $1.50/hour shift differential

Weekend shift is Friday – Sunday 5am – 5pm includes $2.50/hour shift differential

10-hour shifts (per day) including paid breaks (1st and 2nd shifts)

12-hour shifts (per day) including paid breaks (weekend shift)

Voluntary Overtime is available
